Turkoman Jewelry
We recently returned from an expedition in Turkey and brought back some beautiful Turkoman jewelry. The Turkoman people live in Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and northeastern Iran.
They are famous for their beautiful silver jewelry, traditionally inlaid with carnelian and often overlaid with a thin gold wash.
