This is truly an amazing strand of beautiful 19th/early 20th century African hand faceted glass and carnelian beads. Most of the larger beads are actually in pretty good shape. Some have more wear than others, but they have rather few chips or cracks. Two beads are completely worn down. There are two very interesting yellow glass beads with bumps on them, however they are fairly worn. The red or brown colored beads are carnelian, while the rest are glass.
The strand measures 34 inches long. The center bead measures just under 30 mm in diameter.
