Two rare beads for the price of one! The translucent, pale yellow beads with the white stripes are called Gooseberry beads and are very difficult to find, especially in this size. The blue beads are thin slices of some extremely rare eye beads. Due to the different shapes of the beads, the strand hangs at some rather odd angles on occasion, but otherwise is solidly and well strung.
There is an 8 inch section of Gooseberry beads in the center of the strand, with two 6 inch sections of blue slices on either side. The rest of the strand is made up of Gooseberry beads. The entire strand measures 34 inches long. A representative Gooseberry bead towards the center of the strand measures 10 mm in diameter, with the slices also measuring right about 9-10 mm in diameter.
