This is an older Tuareg necklace with a sterling silver pendant. There is a carnelian round nugget in the middle of the hand-hammered piece. The necklace itself is choker length, about 16 inches. The pendant measures 56 mm from the widest point and is 50 mm long. The necklace itself is made of 4 mm black onyx rounds, six hammered silver tubes and six hammered silver rounds.
