These newly made glass beads are made in Africa from recycled glass and are commonly referred to as "sea glass" because of its similarity to beach glass. On a strand about 20 - 22 inches long, this light brown colored glass is semi-opaque. Each bead measures an average of about 9 mm in diameter.
