Wonderful strand of mostly hand-faceted vintage Bohemian glass beads out of the African trade -- complete with a great chandelier piece at the top of the strand. Some of the beads show some wear (including scratches and minor chips), most are actually in pretty good shape. Many of the beads show clear mold marks, suggesting that they are early molded Bohemian glass beads. Several of the other beads show hand-faceting, and are quite lovely.
The strand measures 22 inches long. A representative bead is a 10 mm cube. The beads are strung on cotton cord, and should probably be restrung if the necklace is going to be worn on a regular basis -- and it would make a fabulous necklace.
