This is a beautiful antique Turkoman silver pendant with seven tassels hanging down. The pendant is definitely an antique, and has the beautiful patina associated with jewelry made of high-grade "Coin Silver" (melted down silver coins). There are a few minor dings, but for the most part, the pendant is in really excellent shape. The silver work is very nice. Unlike many Turkoman prayer cylinders, this one does not open. Interestingly, the cylinder is hollow, and has a hole in each end, and could thus be strung either through the loops on the top, or through the middle. Just a beautiful example of old Turkoman silver.
The pendant measures approximately 110 mm long and 16 mm in diameter.
