African Yellow & Clear Sea Glass Beads (Two-Tone)

seaglass-2Tonewhiteyellow

This is a strand of large two-tone white/yellow sea glass beads.  Note the color could also be called "orange", but it's definitely more yellow to our eye!  These glass beads are made in Africa from recycled glass, and are commonly referred to as "sea glass" because they resemble beach glass.  Of course, these beads aren't actually beach glass -- the matte finish is a man-made effect.  These beads are created by the skilled powdered glass bead makers of the Krobo tribe, who predominantly live in Nigeria.  Strands measure 20-22" long. Beads measure an average of 12 mm wide by 13-14 mm in diameter.
