African Sea Glass Beads (Medium)

seaglass-MEDblack

These glass beads are made in Africa from recycled glass, and are commonly referred to as "sea glass" because they resemble beach glass.  Of course, these beads aren't actually beach glass -- the matte finish is a man-made effect, created by the skilled powdered glass bead makers of the Krobo tribe, who predominantly live in Nigeria. This is a strand of medium black sea glass beads. Strands measure 20-22" long. Beads measure an average of 10 mm in length x 10.5 mm in diameter.
