When was the last time you saw a strand of Red Goose Berry beads? Well, the answer for us was "quite awhile"! So when we saw these beautiful beads, we just had to get them. They are a lovely, rich, translucent red color, with the characteristic white stripes.
The strand measures 30 inches long, and individual beads measure approximately 8 mm long with a diameter of 8 mm.
Note: we have seen many Goose Berry beads coming out of Africa in "uncirculated" condition. While these beads are in great shape -- they were definitely cut in the late 19th/early 20th century and used ever since.
