Jambala Beads (Medium)

These are antique Jambala beads - made in Bohemia and traded predominately in Ethiopia and other east African countries. A distinctive, two-toned glass is often used to make these beads, as you can see in the swirly red surface of these beads. The beads on this 25" strand measure on average 19 mm long x 14 mm in diameter. We also have another strand of antique red Jambala beads that are slightly larger åÊhere:
