A second amazing strand of old agate beads from Africa. The beads are hand cut, probably in Germany in the 19th Century, and then apparently traded to Africa. The artist clearly took his or time in cutting them -- each bead seems to have been cut in a manner that best shows off each piece of agate. Just cannot say how much we all loved these beads. Truly beautiful and unique. Our supplier said he had never seen more than a few of these beads in one place before.
Strand measures 30 inches long. A representative bead measures 17 mm long wtih a diamond diameter of 15 mm. This strand has two twin faceted tubes at the end measuring 31 mm long with a diamond diameter of 12 mm.
