Antique Tuareg crosses. These thin silver crosses are probably at least 50 years old, and are quite beautiful. The four corners represent the four corners of the world, and were traditional gifts from father to son -- or at least that's the story! These are really nice examples of a traditional Tuareg art form.
The pendents come in two sizes -- a larger size (the one on the top and the right) and slightly smaller size (the one on the left of the picture). The pendents measure between 80 mm to 90 mm tall (or between 3 and 3.5 inches). They are very thin, but fairly rigid. Each weighs 10.5 for the smaller pendant and 13.5 grams for the larger one.
Wow. This is a beautiful antique piece of Berber art. The pendant is a hollow...
These wonderful antique beads are made from silver and come in both triangular and semi-circular...
This is another lovely example of an antique Tuareg prayer box known as a Tcherot....
