Great strand of lovely 4-layer chevrons that have been lovingly ground down by prior owners. The beads were very clearly made, heat tumbled to give them rounded edges, and then later lightly faceted. The faceting gives the beads a very distinctive thinner outer layer and a more pronounced inner brick and white layer. There's also a special treat -- a Yellow Jacket Chevron at the top. The Yellow Jacket is probably a newer bead, likely made from old cane.
The strand measures approximately 24 inches long. The largest beads measure just over 13 mm in diameter. Note that the strand lays okay, but could probably be restrung for optimal wearing!
